My Answer

Okay, you didn’t leave a return address or even a name, but it sounds like you’re already reading my blog, so you’ll probably see this anyway. First of all, of course I care about her, but I don’t see how that’s any of your damn business. Second, yeah I want her to be happy, and that’s exactly why she should go back. If it’s somehow not obvious, she wants to go home. Just cause I plan on staying doesn’t mean I can make that decision for her, and in case you haven’t noticed, she kind of hates my guts right now.

I don’t know who you are or why you think you can stick your neck in this, but don’t you dare go near her. And don’t give me that crap – you don’t know the first thing about love.

Well said, my friend! I must warn you, however, they are approaching Juliet as well. I will get my group to begin protecting her, if we can, but be on the lookout for a handsome looking man to start hanging around Juliet, we have uncovered more of the Cabal’s plans, and someone has been sent to possibly seduce her into staying. I will let you determine what to do about this immediately, but I’m going to have others warn her at once, and as soon as possible we will try and send another one of the people sent here like you to help out.

Finally, as I promised when I first began to speak with you, I am here to tell you of our final success in sending people home. Our experiments are done, and we are slowly beginning the process needed. Due to the fact that our worlds interact with each other through a series of documents that people here believe to be fiction, we must write to create a gateway for those who we are sending through.

It’s complex, but due to the fact that there are infinite alternate universes for each world, we can make our writing connect to any one of them. This basically amounts to making sure we send the people to a world where they can achieve a happy ending. We don’t want to send anyone anywhere where they are, say, doomed to die.

Furthermore, we have yet to find any evidence that it is safe for you to stay in this reality, and our current method has only proven to work with the universe of origin or an alternate version of it. There are obviously many problems with this, and we are working very hard to find workaround for people like you. I cannot guarantee success, but we will do our best.

We cannot yet begin to work on sending back Juliet for you, though, so she will have to remain for a short while longer until we can collect enough data on the “echoes” she leaves in the world to send her home reliably. We cannot risk harming her, so we must be very cautious.

I will speak to you again when I have more information. I’ll try and give you everything I can think of. If I forget something, one of my compatriots will come along and correct me.

Be well, Romeo, and a damn good show with this blog post! Plus one internets for you!

    Dear Romeo,

I know this message isn’t for me, but I have to say– I’m blown away by it. I know I said before that I was proud to call you my friend; the same is true now, but UP TO ELEVEN.

You are an amazing friend, and an eloquent writer, and you are WAY hardcore.

Your friends are the luckiest people in the world to know you.
    Love,
    Qara-Xuan
